20% sale only?

Historically this has gone on sale for 60%+ during most major sales. Is it because Sons of the Forest is out now that they are slowly reducing the scope of the sale from now on? I was waiting for this sale to get my friends to play by telling them it normally drops to like sub $7..

definitely not worth more than 10$ at this rate, its pretty obvious theyre not coming back to polish things up around the bugs theyve left for years and pretty much just made the exact same game as a sequel with a bit of fanservice

sadly I don't think that's a joke. As OP said I think it has something to do with Sons of the Forest, maybe they are trying to convince people that would buy the first game to buy the new one

I like the graphics on the sons of the forest version but based on the reviews the content seems to be vastly inferior which was why I recommended this one to my friends. doesn't look like anyone is gonna get it at this point though lol

I'm also hoping this was a mistake and refreshing the page now and again. This is the lowest sale in years, it doesn't make sense that an older and unsupported game would be discounted less as time progresses

I feel this has to be a mistake. Hope it changed during the summer sale to people who are new, can play this game before SOTF. First Forest is still a very fun and good game.

Yep, came here to find this thread. I was going to get both games if the original was properly discounted but now I'm getting none and buying other games instead. Good job losing sales.

If the price isn't what you would like then I would suggest just buying a steam key. It won't support the developers but you as a consumer would be pretty happy. Which case if you're buying games on steam to support the developers, I could make the argument that any price would be worth it since the developers only get a percentage of the cut.
