developer mode

I have tried to enable developer mode however I cannot bring up the console despite all the other developer mode features working

I have cheats turned on
I type developermodeon
I can bring up the log and other stats using f2 and f3
I press f1 and nothing happens

This used to work for me I don't have any idea why it doesn't anymore nothing comes up but I have access to the rest of developer mode

recently change any settings? if you make your display too transparent i believe the command box can end up seeming functionally invisible despite technically being present. Otherwise, i'm not entirely sure. Not sure i've encountered this one before. Course the first step to troubleshooting is usually verifying your file integrity, couldn't hurt.

I have not changed anything as far as I can remember and I have tried verifying the file integrity

If I'm not mistaken, you have to have cheats enabled under game settings then go to the main game menu. Just type developermodeon even tho you won't see it the text is there. Hit enter and click play. Once in game press F1.

Oh almost forgot if you want some serious fun try out modapi.

Yeah I was meaning to say i concur with ya and from memory that's how you do it. I'm what you call a sophisticated drinker (Alcoholic) when on the colt45 jag my mind isn't the best. I remember a bug where my saved got corrupted on a cloud save and it took me a while to delete that and keep it from coming back.

Not currently, probably going to try uninstalling and reinstalling it pretty sure my saves will still be there.

As far as I am aware there has been no changes and it works for others
I've been trying to fix it for a few days now

Hey bro happy new year. I tried LCtrl + F1 and worked. Idk if it's bcz my keyboard it's different from another ones but worked here

Oh wait, it was a keyboard thing? *facepalm* then i probably should have realized it sooner. I got a keyboard where I have to use the FN key + F1 to actually get F1. I just didnt stop to think about that as a sudden change but when you first get a new keyboard or something, oh yeah it is.

This is why I loathe laptops on mine when I use it which is seldom it often turns on the touchpad even though I have turned it off WHAM its on again and I have to turn it off

OR

when I start a game I have to specifically tell it to use the Nvidia graphics card rather than the on board card it does not default to the better Nvidia

but many peeps seems to love them ... the laptops ..
