Then how do you trade those items, really for a 2 year old game this shouldnt be a challenge.

There is a tray that spawns with you on the plane, You can share small items the player cannot take into their hands with it by adding it and the item to the crafting mat, clicking the gear, and then equipping the tray straight from the mat.

Just my opinion but that was uncalled for. You take a lame shot at the game because you havent figured out how to play it.
Also I think using the tray is a brilliant way to trade items unlike ever other game that you drop ♥♥♥♥ on the ground to give it away. Oooo thats neat! Not!

Say your sorry to the Devs and dont let this happen again.

That is all.
regardless of how long its been in development the dev team is small and the game is still in alpha you can't expect every single feature to be fully functional and perfectly tweaked and implemented.

alpha's are all about making the core of the game, building the foundations. then in beta concentration is switched to optimising and going back and tweaking fiddly little bits and bobs.

but your original question has already been answered, just use the tray for MP.

i will say though that eventually once in beta it would be nice if the devs considered adding a 'drop' option for SP for certain items. i've had spoiled oysters in my backpack for days now for example because I can't drop them ;P

The tray doesnt work with all items. And yea 2 years in dev and you cant even drop items is pretty bad no matter how you look at it, one might even say its a core feature that probably should of been in since the first build of multiplayer since you know its so such a fundemential feature, being able to trade items in a MULTI player game that focuses on crafting items.

And Freake be a fanboy else where lmao, devs need to add way to just plain old drop items, it only frustrates having to do some convoluted system that you'd expect out of an old sam and max game.

Hey Hey ,,settle down. That was my opinion and thats your opinion,,fair enough.

And,,, "since you know its so such a fundemential feature"? You? meaning me/us?,,,but I dont know that. Tell your teamate sister to buck up and get her own supplies.

And,,, "a MULTI player game that focuses on crafting items". I thought the focus was survival.

And why should I go elsewhere when I'm a "fanboy" of THIS game?

Your not contributing to the disucssion point at hand in the slightest dude, stop flaming the topic and/or reeeeeeing so hard that the neighbours are hearing you. Why do all old people on steam have to be so autistic smh.

Anyway be nice to see this added as a feature since its pretty frustrating to new players not being able to simply drop items, and with it being such a core feature of a game focused on crafting.
it's hardly game-breaking. low priority, i'm sure it'll be addressed in beta but there's really no rush for it in alpha, rather they continue implementing features and carving out their vision of the game further without nit-picky distractions such as this tbh

Being able to not drop items from your backpack is not nit picky, its pretty dreadful tbh, but hey I guess this is why most greenlight games never release from alpha since they just keep adding features instead of working on what has only been half finished. Aka project creep.

if it was game-breaking i'd agree. but it's not so there's no rush and there's more important things to work on. maybe they have a system in mind for beta that adding function to drop items now prematurely would break, we just don't know.

i do agree a drop button would be handy and i hope something like it will be addressed in future (ie: unable to drop spoilt oysters bugs me) but i'm not rabidly foaming at the mouth over it as it isn't taking anything away from the game.

just leave it in suggestions and wait for a future release no need to get all psychotic about something so trivial and nit-picky.

Did you just call me an old ♥♥♥♥♥♥? And what in the blue hell is reeeeeeing? I'm pretty sure I've never done that. Respect ur elders Sonny.lol

Also I agree that we should being able to drop things such as rotten oysters but I personally like the tray for giving items to other players. And I dont know why that would change,,seems like they wouldnt go thru the trouble of the whole tray thing to take it out and then change to a simple drop option later,,,but I what do I know,,,I'm just an old ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
yeah the tray is a good idea, i like it too but it does pose problems when you factor in items that need dropping without sharing too i guess they're still experimenting with the logistics of it all to find a balance

there's a fine line between in-depth complexity and archaically convoluted, it will be interesting to see what the devs have in mind for the future when it comes to these systems.

What a little kiss ass. To continue Freake's statement, for a 4 year old game this shouldn't be a challenge.
