These have been suggested for years. And unless things have changed, the dev's have said that they didn't want large "predators" in the game, thus taking the focus off the mutants.

If that is true, then why did they made the alligators? Since they are large predators that can take 50% of your hp away in 1 bite.

Aligator/Crocodiles (I'm not an expert in knowing which is which) were probably added as a higher risk/reward method of getting Lizard skins, rather than looking for well camoflagued and normally immobile regular lizards for them.

Yes crocigators (I'm not an expert in knowing which is which either) will eat you and as you know, sharks will kill you! Or at least taste you first then kill you. Lol...
