What's the Utility key bind for??

It seems to never appear to press when looking at an item, and just pressing it does nothing. Is it just not used yet and what do you think it will be for?

I read that it is to equip the last left-handed item. I equipped my flashlight, held E to light a fire with my lighter, hit the UTILITY button to equip back my flashlight, and nothing happened. I hope this will be fixed soon as I find it very cumbersome to switch between flashlight and lighter constantly in caves.

its for -utility- items ... for example, the walkman... it works fine

Too bad the flashlight is not a -utility- item. Seems like it should be.

flash light is handled as a "light" item, just likethe lighter. once you equip it you can bring it up by pressing L
its quite annoying that you gotta go into your inventury and re-equip it tho, i agree..

Ain't my fault you necromanced a thread ;) Now to make that key actually play the tape recorder... got broken quite a few versions ago.

It's been working great for me, super thankful, I remember briefly messing around with it when I first started playing, with no results, and I had been complaining of there being no hotkey for the cassette player too, but nobody ever told me to try use the utility key until recently
