Boiling Water

Okay, so I'm having a problem in V0.41b, where I can't put my water from a pot on the fire to boil it. I have polluted water in the old pot that you get from near the beach area, and when I try to equip it from my inventory, there's only an option to drink it.

Please help because both me and my sister have been experiencing this problem for a while now.

And also if you collect rain water in the pot now and then you drink it, then it gives you absolutly zero effect on thirst. So clearly something going on with the pot in this version...

I don't know if it's possible to re-equip the filled pot after putting it back in your inventory. I've only ever gotten the option to drink from it. Currently the only way to boil it is to scoop up the water and leave the pot in your hand as you run back to your camp fire and place it with C. It's a bit of a pain, especially if cannibals are around if it's a bit of a run to your water source, but it's the only way I've been able to boil water.

And yes to M4, rain water is bugged right now =/

yea i got pretty angry with this too but just had to accept its an alpha and some things don't work properly

I believe once you reload/restart the game, the pot will be empty for use again (it also seems to respawn the pot at the beach campsite).

Yep, encountered the same bug. Another things is that when I boil the water I can't fill the waterskin with the water from the pot, my character just drinks all the water.
