Can't chop up bodies.

I've done it before, but now it's almost never connecting with the target. Sometimes I'll swing hear the hit see the damage and the next hit misses and does nothing. It's frustrating when trying to build effigies.

It's not just 1 body either tried on 10+, I'm lucky if I get a single limb from 20 swings. I move the bodies, slowly strafe around them swinging hoping to land a hit.

Any thoughts?

I can chop off the arms and the head with slight difficulty but I can never get the legs. I guess its because of the ragdoll, hopefully they fix it soon.

you can chop every piece, but its kinda hard to aim, you need to cut precise places, but it can be done

When I played a few months ago, it was fine, but now I only hit 1 out of 10 times

Yeah this is a bug, verified in coop but I guess it's the same in SP? I thought it was aim, but some bodies are just completely uncuttable, others 20 chops and you get an arm and a head and then it doesn't respond to any more hits.

Yes, I noticed in both Sp and Mp also. The Devs warned that the new rag doll might be buggy.
Guess we'll have to wait for a fix.

Actually I'm having some success with chop, pick up, drop, chop... I think they just have to end up in a different position to get another part, or all of them. Usually you get all the parts in the end this way.

About 1-2 months back it was no issue, just been a recent problem. When did you last play?

I'm having a lot of trouble with this. It takes me around an average of 15-20 chops to remove one limb. Picking them up and re-dropping them helps a bit but not much.

Yeah I've had at least one body I couldn't get the leg off by redropping. But it helps in general.

I did some experimenting and found that the plane axe has a much better chance of a successful hit on the limbs. Stone Axe gets about a 15% chance of a hit and the plane axe is around 80%. I don't have the other axes yet so not sure about them.
