missing cassette tape

i want to get gabe fan achievement, missing cassette number 4 and as far as i know from yt its located in baby cave but it didnt spawn for me i dont have it at all. what gonna do ? search it again in co-op or in new game ? does it count that way ?

Did you try saving somewhere above ground, completely close the game, and then go back to look for it? AFAIK it really should respawn leaving the cave system and then reentering.

Cassette Tape 2 is at the very end of the Baby Cave (Cave 4) west of the climb entrance. Cassette Tape 4 is in the Hanging Cave (Cave 2) near skull lanterns/mining hats.

itk man all YT videos i checked cassette 4 was in baby cave maybe it was changed in updates and videos were outdated. Will check hanging cave later thx.

A lot of videos about the game are outdated, but I also don't know which one you watched exactly either. I hopped in a quick game and snagged some screenshots though so you could compare and see if that video still had the right spot. Since I was going specifically for these pictures, i had the cavelight on so you could see the cave detail more clearly to compare, it wont normally be so bright though.

The tunnel you would find it in, from the climbing rope entrance to baby cave (the one near yacht beach):

The back of that tunnel, it's actually pretty hard to see the tape even when you run down to the dead end and that's what this shot is displaying, the tape is on the rock next to that gas can)

And a closeup of the tape itself so you could check if you simply overlooked it or if genuinely isn't spawning where it should.

If you indeed have the right spot, and it still wont spawn, and reloading the cave doesnt make it respawn....then it's also worth mentioning that the use of console commands does not disable achievements. So you totally have the option of troubleshooting a spawn bug by spawning the tape in yourself.

thx for such dedicated and detailed answer. however yes i checked exactly that spot in cave and no tape was there. Maybe it wasn't there because that cassette was already claimed and cassette 4 is actually in hanging cave as RabbitRidge said. i will try again in coming days.

if u mean why i awarded RequeimsRose and not u is because he always answers everyone with long essay to provide as much info as possible and i just wanted to respect him for this. this doesn't mean i need long answers to appreciate someone's involvement more or i dont appreciate short strait to the point answers like urs but it was because his huge activity and ur comment like that was stupid and uncalled no need to be jealous like that.

Rabbit is a bit newer to the community but they've been quite helpful since I've seen them around as well, clearly. At one point they even recommended I try to go for forum moderator here which I took as a high compliment. I figured they were just frustrated or having a bad day. Happens to everyone.
