Problem with wall planter

Hi, I have build a few wall planters in my base, but I can't use it. Despite fact that I have a lot of seeds in my inventory it is impossible to plant them. I can change type of herbs (press "R" working good), but when I'm trying to put seed inside the plant by pressing "E" nothing happens. I have tried to build it on different types of walls with the same result. Did someone noticed the same problem?
