EDIT: That's exactly what I thought too when .06 came out. I also don't get why they are starving. Cannibalistic doesn't mean they only eat people and there's a lot of food on the island.
Yes, this is true. They also do attack the other cannibals, no matter if male or female. There have been pretty long battles between them going on around my base.

The original female cannibals still appear naked and bald, as before.... suddenly growing hair and skirts when dead.

My main issue is not the addition of new "types" of cannibal it's more that the skin quality is absolutely atrocious compared to the other regular types already established in the game, as Myrmuzduur [IRL] says.
Feels rushed and seems to serve no purpose except a crude modesty effect. There was a glitch when I killed one that removed the "syrup" overlay and there's a perfectly fine quality skin under it. You want a starving, blood & mud soaked feral cannibal enemy type, that's great, fine, but do it right.
I have plenty other gripes with v0.06 changes. The way all cannibals now all limply flop forward on death despite being knocked backwards when wounded is just silly. The ragdoll forward or backward should depend from which direction the final blow came from.
The new ones are starting to piss me off...
First you can not take a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ step, without crossing paths with one or half a dozen of them, it loos like they just pop up and start bothering you with their run-attack-run-attack-run routine, until you just kill them to have at least a few minutes of peace.
Second, they are buggy as hell, from glitching around to being unkillable, and of course being able to knock the "blood cover" from their skin, or just fighting each other sometimes.
Not to mention, that the old cannibals are now fireproof... i mean, what the ♥♥♥♥? Why do we have 3 different kind of fire places, the molotov cocktails and the flare gun, if they became useless against the old cannibals with the last patch?
Also, they all (still) glitch to alternative skins when killed.
Thou if they are fighting each other that's actually really cool and makes sense. Why would there be only one "faction" it is much more natural to have villages/ groups that compete with each other or cooperate depends on their past relation ship.
LET ME KILL, DISMEMBER AND BASK IN THE BLOOD OF THY ENEMIES. But please don't let me see genitals or human udders. It is sending the wrong message that will corrupt my 10 year old son who I purchased this game for. It also goes against my values as a human being.
I've actually referenced just how warped people's "morality" is via this game. "half-dressed women" -- *GASP* - but chopping up people you've killed to spike their body parts on sticks, then light them up... This is OK? ... /boggle
Then again I personally like options. If something is annoying - make it optional. if something is offensive, make it optional. If something is hard, make it optional, etc.
So if it's just what textures are loaded for a model - that can work and shouldn't be seen as a problem by others.
I'll still personally snicker at how warped these people are but at least we won't have to read their posts about the horror of seeing half dressed women as they chop people into bits and pieces then torch those body parts infront of their victim's family as being "OK".
