how to get rope and farm?

i just recently bought the game if you look past the bugs its really amazing but i just recently saw i can make a house boat but it says that i need rope any idea on how to get this?And i also made a farm but im not sure how to use it.

Rope can be found in caves hanging from the ceiling, farms are pretty badly broken right now.

Rope cannot currently be used in crafting, you don't need it. Farms are rather buggy. If you come across some flowers in The Forest with a little + sign next to them, pick them up. You can then plant these seeds in your gardens.
