Any hidden stuff on the map?

I've heard about the cockpit, about a yacht. Are these really on the map? I've searched for over two overs on foot without stoping, and found myself going in circles. Anyways, can anyone tell me how to get to the cave you get taken after being knocked down?

The Cockpit and the yacht are randomly placed and when you get knocked out you wake up in a random cave. There is a cave entrance near the beach with the anchor.

Yeah, but are the caves randomly generated? Or are they already part of the map. I have a base on the beach with the anchor, can you explain a bit more how to find it?

There's also a hidden Hatchet, people call it the 'Modern Axe'.

Oh, on this topic. Other than the flare gun (which I only found in the cave, but always got killed instantly) and the so called Modern axe, anything else you can build in the game? The only thing I figured out is how to make molotovs.

you wont find the yacht if you have saved and loaded. It seems to be suffering from a dissapearance after load at this time.
I just put up a map of what I have found so far on my play through, and the two cave locations I have found. The cave seems to be the same basically, you can find an ad hoc map on the artwork section.
if your at the anchor, unless they are random, which I dont know for sure, then your near two entrances to caves
you can build a bomb.. Circuit board + change + alcohol
Hatchet.. stick + rock
thats all I know so far,, unless you count lizard armor. oh, and molotov of course

There are all sorts of things strewn about the map. There is a camp site near the anchor, another sleeping bag site, another camp site with sleeping bags, a camp site out on an island, the two known parts of the plane (tail section and nose section), the yacht, a few boats drug up on shore, a few boats WAY inland, half a dozen cave entrances, half a dozen tribal sites, a few sacred trees and some ponds. Some of these sites contain loot (like pills, candy bars, sodas, fishing spears, flare gun, etc) and some are just eye candy.

If I missed a site, someone please... chime in :)

Back to your question about the cave, head to the anchor. There is an outcroping of rocks with a rise behind it. Search there for a cave entrance. If you make it out alive, head up the beach toward the luggage. Pass the second set of luggage and you will see another outcropping or rocks near the water, with a rise behind the rocks. Check there for another cave entrance.
