there is even a female npc helping you now. and modern firearms like shotgun and magnums and a nightvision device.
Asking for a female lead character in SOTF that is based on and centred around a father and his sons would be like someone requesting Laura Croft be replaced by a man, in Tomb Raider. Would it make any sense? No, it would not.
The father isn't faceless. You can even see him on a cover. Fathers are usually male.
Low effort troll but got my answer. Bb
This is superficial.
basically the bread and butter to fulfill your wishes exist already, only thing that remains is their word on it or waiting for release.
rather impossible that they havent planned that far ahead already but they seem completely mute when it comes to communication or just using the lack of funds as an excuse to build hype through leaving people to speculate for themselves or if people might be massively dissapointed in the sequel because theyre after all just simply using an upgraded version of the same engine as The Forest so i wouldnt keep my hopes up too much.
the sequel is really going to be a make or break situation for them
blowing into disks of old consoles and applying multiple disks in different external floppy drives to receiving automatically installed updates that works without checking which disk is disk1, disk2, disk3 or disk4 in order to receive the appripriate installment files in appropriate order whilst not even needing to write down command lines to navigate the OS
could you imagine that +20 years ago playing mario ? Quake ? UT or counter-strike up until 1.3 where we had no choise but to seek out our own clan wars manually over iRC @ Quakenet and climb the worldwide ranking on clanbase.org compared to now, everything is automated with all pre-recorded equivalent of the .dem for CW reviews.
we dont even need to do anything anymore, automatically generated teams based on automatically applied rating and even modifications being installed automically, we get to meet the developers over discord to exhange word with them and provide feedback if not even get to beta test games without being a trusted asset of the company who keeps a few spare keys for friends and family.
oh how things evolve, even mod developers creating characters and physics from the very foundation but expecting a character model from the developers themselves ? oh my, oh no!
