how to Single Wooden Pillar

for the life of me I cannot make a single wooden pillar. I assume it is the Custom Foundation yet can't get it to do a single pole as it starts off as with the initial blueprint.

I can make them using custom walls or these pointy walls (dunno how they are called in the english game version). Haven't tried it, but i'd assume it might work different (or not at all) when using custom foundation.

build a custom wall as Inspektor Clouseau mentioned but only make it 1 log wide.

I did see one could use the Custom Wall or the Defensive Wall and only let it be 1 log but would have been nice to make a very tall wooden pillar as indicated by the Custom Foundation with the initial start of the blueprint.
