Dev mode stopped working?

So...for some reason I can't enable developer mode anymore? Allow cheats is turned on. But nothing. Any ideas?

on singleplayer and MP where you host the "cheats on/off" doesn't affect developer console
it only affects clients on MP

maybe there was caps lock and it was interfering with "developersmodeon"?
also you need to wait for the game to fully load before you type that, if you type it instantly once you see main menu then it might not work

so ive tried it a few times cheats enabled and all but every time i go in game and try to press f1 all it does is mute my game

You have to type

developermodeon

At the main menu. Works as of 12 hours ago, F1 in-game to bring up the menu. "cavelight on" is yours best friend.

you have to click on keyboard "developermodeon" in main menu and then F1

I'm going through the same thing.

Do you have an Fn/function key? If you do, you might need Fn+F1 for it to actually recognize that you are using F1 instead of the volume shortcut on the same button that is used by default (in my case my F1 key doubles as play/pause by default instead of mute but I can have the same issue).

We followed the guide, my function lock is disabled, so I need to press fn+f1 if I need to mute my game. The problem is, we're typing "developermodeon" in a fully loaded main menu with cheats enabled, but it still don't work do you guys have idea to make this work?
