Are we going to see cross-network play?

So after The Forest is being released officially - are we going to see cross-network games? I mean guy on PC and guy on PS4 - playing together? This would be very cool and will bring a lot of new players to the game.

Idk. The only thing we know is that there will be a big content update in early december.

Possibly so since they kinda nerfed the pc version, possibly to make both versions the same and allowing this? I have no idea

It would benefit the game a lot.

It wouldnt be possible unless they finally figured out a way to block modapi so ps4 players wouldnt be trolled by god mode pc players.

We will have to see what they did in December.

PS4 version just released. Anyone here bought it and tried connecting with a PC player yet?

Just bit the bullet and tried out the ps4 version. It is NOT cross platform. PC version works through steam only and PS4 version works through PSN only. There's no way to connect to specific IP addresses.

I dont see how anyone could play this game with a controller.
