How do you shoot accurately with a bow?

Hi all, new player here -

I started out with 9 arrows and went hunting. I ended up wasting 6 killing one deer that was not terribly far away.

How do you aim properly with the bow-and-arrow? I have built the Bull's-eye to help me practice but I can't get a good feel for how they work.

Also, how many arrows does it take to kill a deer?

Ignore the bow as you aim, it's held at an angle but it shoots to the center of your screen. Line your target up with the center of your screen and you should be good to go. That being said, it doesnt have consistant accuracy. It's always better to make every arrow a fire arrow and use it like that.

I think 1-2 arrows for a deer, sometimes they bounce off the head, though^^ xD When it comes to aiming, there's a small stick in the middle of your bow, kind of try to have the target to the right of that, but not really too far from it, maybe a few millimeters. Don't know where you're from but that's really not much. If the target is further then 20 meters away you have to calculate the arrow drop in, so aim a little higher.
Also, like Ethan T said, fire arrows are the best. If you can't afford those at least get some poison arrows. Just takes 5 twinberries for 5 arrows. They are quite good for hunting deer as well.

Also the longer you hold the arrow drawn back, the more accurate it will be (2-5 Seconds IIRC)
