how do I build wooden sides to the custom roof?

as the title says, I want to fix the custom roof so it doesn't look ridiculous

i managed to get it done, takes a while for this to look good

First press "C" to get it single place mode. Start Left - place the starting point there - then move to the center - place second point there - then right place the third point - move mouse back to center and press "E" now you can cave this "pizza slice like a roof up to fill the gap. press "E" if you have finished. Mess around with it to make it look good. Save before starting abd reload when it went wrong

so, if I'm reading this right, there needs to be a slight angle between the outsides and the middle?
