finish game achievement

if you chose not to save timmy and carry on can u still go back and save timmy to get achievement of finishing the game ? or do you have to start a brand new game ?

You can load the save (before you chose to not save timmy) and then finish the game again.

uh no, you can just go back through the cave and redo the ending from your last savepoint. Redoing the whole game from scratch is unnescessary.

Even tho we saved after letting the plane fly over and leaving timmy dead ?
Surely doing the other ending on the same game is impossible now ??

If you did save only once after the ending it is possible or you saved it on another slot and then it is possible as well. If you did not do any of these you have to start a new game to finish the normal ending.

Yup have to start game again !! You should get 'finished game' achievement on both endings !! disapointing

Yeah i think it is a bug or the devs intented it.

It's particularly annoying that the 'real' ending is clearly NOT the right thing to do.

@ Iborl : Not everyone is as ethical and detached from their childrens life to, "Do the right thing". Inside the game, no one cares, its just to finish the game off and achievement lol. However many have said it would have been nice to make an alternate end game i.e. Now your stuck, that SOS rock layout you get, would initiate a boat to come ashore to rescue you or something OR some said about fixing the yacht to leave. Too complex though really, but fun to imagine.

I'm chaotic neutral at best but in no way does the game give you any indication that reanimating Timmy won't have the same horrific consequences as all the other failed experiments in the lab, not to mention all the other innocents you've seen mutilated along the journey. It even makes a point of highlighting three specific under 10-year-olds you'll be sentencing to death on that plane and gives their first names, which is pretty much all the information as you're ever given about Timmy as well. How does crashing another plane get you rescued from the island anyway?
