Bite me! (shark) Achievement

I cant find a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shark!!!, i tried in the northwest, tried in near the jacht... zero living shark...

Well this achievement takes time I got it by throwing bombs near the boat which agros it. I killed it by teasing it underwater with the rebreather leading it towards one of the small islands next to the boat I then stabbed it with a spear. This achievement is a hard one and it takes time. Try building a small raft and scout it out by throwing bombs in the water. I do have this achievement and I hope this helped. Stick near the boat thats the most common spawn of sharks.

If you do it at day then it's pretty easy, you need 2 hits from bow to kill shark.
Go to yacht, save there, get out - look for shark around this small island - you can't see him? Then swim on this island and look now - if he isn't there then load save and repeat until he spawns.

Also veganmode/peacefull and creative (by default) disable monsters (I heard that this includes shark). Also heard some bugs that on MP it doesn't spawn

yeah, we tried to search the shark in MP, in SP, i found the littly beast! ty the tip

yep, we searched for 2 hours yesterday in MP, today both of us find one of them almost instantly in SP next to yacht :)

I was able to hunt a shark (before they added achievements) by luring it on the beach of the small island beyond the yacht. Just swim in the water a while and the shark will come. Then lure it on the beach where it is helpless and just hit it with an axe. Haven't tried does this still work on the current build of the game though... :)
