Else a Stone wall x3 in height works too.
Edit: 5 might be excessive. But I recommend 3 atleast and preferably 4 just to be safe.
Also don't wall off your entire base. Keep an opening with traps.
Otherwise they will randomly wreck areas.
Then the cannibals just climbed all the walls to the top roof and just broke it apart before I could get up there to kill them!
Now I build in one place, then after a couple of night I move to another base and build there. Mostly, if I'm not inside the base, they leave it alone. Mostly, but last night armsy chased me up my escape platform which was two tree bridges away from the base. He casually wandered over and completely destroyed on wall of my base; then came back and knocked down my perch in my tree house. I hit the ground running and didn't stop until I was on my raft and heading for my island base!
So, now I wonder when I will get my SweetBird's warning and see cannibals coming up out of the sea! Or worse, comng at my island on rafts of their own.
