Stone VS Wood?
I recently decided to build myself something of a castle and I'm wondering if it's worth the effort. Are stone walls stronger than wood (as they should be) and if so, is the difference noticable?

Stone walls take more damage to destroy.

So they're basically twice as strong? That's good to know, that makes them pretty useful. So I guess from now on I'm gonna focus on reinforcing structures with external stone walls.

You gotta keep a good distance between the outer stone walls and your wooden structures. They can hit through. Maybe something like 2 meters, 6 feet or so. Yeah, glitchy af! They're freakin cheating ;)

That's gonna ruin the aestetic of my castle... I guess I could just make multiple layers of walls.

I hear ya! :) thing is, they don't give a f on aestetics! Lol :) And i bet a good distance is not as ruining as an Armsy on speed, cheating hits through your stone walls! Lol! All good, it was meant as a tip. Better you know before something terrible happens, right?

It's be nice if they made walls capable of outright blocking hits so that the walls behind them aren't damaged until the first layer is destroyed.

There is 1 problem with stone walls.
Cannibals can freely jump over them.... unless you build them 3 high, and it takes infinite amount of stones ;-;
Might be 2x stronger, but you will build (or rebuild) the wooden one 10x faster

Stone transportation may be annoying, but if you build your structure in an area with lots of freely available stone then you can easily put down 300+ rocks in a play session.That would be enough for 20 walls, certainly enough for a choke point. Unlike rocks, logs aren't guaranteed to be nearby.

I like how hundreds of rocks will instantly respawn right next to you.
