How do you get out of sinkhole?

We went into HC Cave not realizing we lost the keycard, so we had to go back up. Problem is, we have never been through the cave that leads directly to the bottom of the sinkhole (I presume it's the waterfall cave), so we're glitched at a part where you use dynamite, but it is not working.

So... is there any other way out of the sinkhole?

I dont think there's, youre supposed to go there manually not by jumping out or glitching, especially if you lack some other important items behind

I'm 100% sure you mistake the location where you are supposed to use dynamite :V
It's like 5th thread like this I see and people always targetted wrong wall.

The wall with hole cannot be exploded.
On the side there is step down (with climbing walls in case someone can't jump), there will be explodable wall.


And it's not waterfall cave :D
It's "Sinkhole Cave" combined with the "Chasm Cave" (single cave but big enough to get 2 names lol)

wariat is likely right. There is a bomb section near another wall that looks like a bomb wall with a peek hole in it if you are going through the cave backwards. From the large door the room opens up and should have 2 octos in it, if you hug the left wall you find that step down and bomb wall they mentioned, the fake bomb wall is on the right side of the chamber instead. After you do go through there it's mostly about picking the right path. Next big junction is a large room with a shallow pool for a floor, has 4 paths in total counting the one you just came through. One is to your left and a dead end, ones right across the room but you need to swim, also a dead-end but that leads to modern bow, and the last is the way out and it's slightly off to your right. It's a partially flooded walkway with planks blocking it off and some cannibals near it (assuming they didnt join in on your fighting the spiders in the room). After that the general rulle is that if you are going up, you are probably going the right way. Even if you go up and take the "wrong" way worst that happens is a longer trip and you get the tennis racket and pedometer while you are at it.

Okay thanks guys. We figured out a way to get up to the hanging cave, the one with the climbing axe, but I will keep that in mind for next time.

hanging cave is the one with modern axe

the one with climbing pick is ledge cave ;d
