Challenges/ideas for a new playthrough

I haven't played the game for a while and I wanted to get back into it. However, I was wondering if anyone had any challenges or ideas to make the game more immersive.

Maybe try exclusively living in the snow region, and/or using only crafted tools? Go full native? (Using crafted axe, bow, arrows make the fur clothes and rabbit boots, avoid using any modern tools or weapons found, etc.).

You can try the Nomad challange. This challange is that you are only allowed to stay at a place for two in game days. You are allowed to build a hunting shelter, drying rack and a campfire. If you in a cave you are only allowed to pick up end game items. The other things like: a bow and arrows, explosives torches, etc must be crafted. I hope you like this challange.

Nomad play style makes the game extremely easy.
It is however the most fun. You would have to get a few mods and higher difficulty to make it a challenge though.
