Dedicated server not showing in Dedicated (Internet)

I can join the server from the Dedicated (Lan), no one else can join when I invite or they chose join game.

I set up the config file, the ip is my internal ip, the ports are forwarded to this ip. It's a passworded game. Windows firewall allows the dedicated software access no other firewall or antivirus.

I've even tested it out in an DMZ, meaning direct access to internet and no router settings to mess it up for those who don't know what DMZ is. So it highly likely not a port issue.

I'm not new to setting up dedicated servers but I am at a loss of this one.

Help please.

For this it may be easier to just use The Forest Server Manager, which basically does all this for you. https://github.com/AdriaanBoshoff/The-Forest-Server-Manager/releases/tag/1.5

Easy UI to use and works. Only thing i would recommend is do not install Oxide (Step 2) as i know of a LOT of issues it causes, more than it fixes. What it fixes u dont even notice, whereas what bugs it produces u will definitely notice. Like rafts dont move, sleep issues, tree regrowth broken, etc. Try it and see.

There's a -serverip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx argument you can pass to the target, but that doesn't seem to address this issue for me. Were you able to get this working?

No I wasn't able to solve the issue. I stopped playing the game.

i guess the patch screwed up the Dedicated Host i had 2 servers remote hosted 24 hours a day, Neither of them showing up in the dedicated (internet) section.

Official answer from Ascend servers:
The Forest's new update has caused them to use new redist software, we are working on a fix currently. We will update you once we have more information.

The team is fully aware of the situation and is working on a fix from our end - though it will be a challenge as we are not the actual devs of this game. Not to worry, for any time lost, we will be more than happy to give your account an extension equal to the number of days you were unable to use it specific to this issue.

I still have seen no solution from the devs anywhere. Obviously some people have this working because there are servers up. Any help would be appreciated. I have everything working except it shows the server only in LAN and not internet. Logs show login to steam, the server is up, just not in the internet list.

Myself and 2 other friends also cannot get our dedicated server to show up in Internet.

I heard someone today (i think) say that using a VPN works for some reason if u run it to the country that the server is in. Could try that?
