Upgrading weapons
If I upgrade damage, speed goes down and vice versa.

How can I upgrade both?

Feathers - speed
Teeth - damage
Glass - more damage

I know. But when I add feathers with tree sap it also seems to reduce my damage, whilst increasing speed...

where do you find glass?

You can find it. Just add booze to your weapon.

To answer your question, the decrease loss in one stat is less than the increase gain in the other. So 1 tooth and 1 feather will mean an increase in both stats, albeit less than if you only did one or the other. So maxing a weapon with 15 feathers and 15 teeth will create one with better damage and speed stats than the basic weapon. Glass upgrades decrease speed more than teeth, but you'll still have a net gain in both stats if you add enough feathers to compensate.

Last i looked glass didn't decrease speed. At least it didn't say it did.

Glass has the greatest decrease in speed while having the highest increase in damage

Teeth add damage and also decrease speed

Feathers increase speed but decrease damage

By glass they mean bottles ;d
You use them to craft molotovs.

If you mix bottles, tree sap and weapon then you have 6 or 7 glass shards which you can use to upgrade weapon. (If you don't use all then you lose them :D It's 6 or 7 per 1 bottle)

Also last time I have used them... Their speed decrease was equal to feather's speed increase so mixing bottles + fearthers was pointless. Did devs change it?

At least feathers + teeth work :D

I don't think they changed it so if that was the case with glass and feathers. I'm pretty sure it's still the same.
The only upgrades I mix are teeth and glass and that is because someone said that gives the most damage output instead of just going one or the other don't know why but it is weird

Feather: +0.1 Speed, -0.05 Damage
Tooth: +0.1 Damage, -0.05 Speed
Glass: +0.2 Damage, -0.1 Speed

So no, it's not equal. Feather speed increase is equal to glass speed decrease, but damage decrease is only 1/4 glass increase. Using both equals a net gain in stats.

....

how 0.1 isn't equal to 0.1 ;-;?

Considering your original comment:

Your reply is blithely ignoring the other half of the equation, which is a net gain in damage while canceling out the speed decrease on a 1:1 ratio. That's not equal, and your statement implies as a whole it's "pointless," which it obviously is not.

You were the one who ignored the equation first ;D

And you ignore it again ;d

and edit post :D

...No? Because math. How do you not understand? You say feathers + teeth works, but glass + feathers doesn't...which makes no sense if you understand addition.

Example:
10 glass 20 feathers: 1 speed increase, 1 damage increase.
10 teeth 20 feathers: 1.5 speed increase, 0 damage increase.

Or any other ratio you want. Glass allows for greater damage, and speed slowdown is mitigated by feathers, EXACTLY LIKE TEETH.

How again is glass + feathers pointless?
