Plane flying over island
when playing today i looked up and noticed a plane flying over the island really far up, could it mean anything? is this new? does it have a purpose or is it just an easter egg type thing.

it was in multiplayer with 2 friends and when i pointed it out they both said that they couldnt see it but i took a screenshot to send them. it was about 40 minutes into starting a new save since the full release.

I saw multiple planes fly over the island already. Once every 1 to 2 days. Im guessing that's a way to get off the island, after you built the SOS-sign.

No, you just hear the engine-sound, which gets louder and then it flies right overhead. Like, you have to look straight up to see it. It flies pretty high, though and looks like a normal airliner, like the one you crash with on the island. So, I don't think, it'll drop anything... it's probably just there to "see" your SOS and then something else happens, I suppose.

Hmmmmm. I wonder if they see the SOS that should trigger something or it wouldn't make sense adding it in. I guess we will have to keep looking. The devs prob wont leak it :)

If you buildt the S.O.S sing and shot with the flaregun in the Sky when theres a Plane you unlock a secret achievement.

But there will be nothing more to happen...
