the vac icon on dedicated servers is some sort of bug.
devs allow cheating so you won't be catched anyway (unless this changes)
Even if that's true (sadly), I still would recommend to use the available ingame commands, instead of a 3rd party cheating tool.
Indeed, but why using a third party tool, when the game itself allows commands for cheating purpose?
They just have better gui.
Instead typing "additem 279" you press button "spawn modern bow" and you get bow, while in game log says that you have typed command :D
Also it doesn't feel that bad if the game itself provides it.
A third party tool is a third party tool. ;)
The "hide game to check ID on website" isn't good too :P
You can also ESC and listitems but the list is even poorer than the gui :D
Well, it isn't as convenient as the admin tool in Conan Exiles.
Still I rather prefer to use the ingame options than a third party tool.
It's about as safe as steam
there were steam mods that messed with IP and stuff, it took some time for them to be removed (ARK survival evolved had such mods for example)
probably if anyone finds that modapi mods do something bad then they will be removed too~~ (would need to report to creator of site tho)
