Day/night cycle.
I believe these are to short.

I would like to know if anyone agrees or not.

Just right

Agree. I'm used to 90 minute days in 7 days to die. In comparison time actually flies in the forest. Lol 😂

Yea I wouldnt mind if time was a bit slower

Day/night is to SHORT but devs have no interest. I want real time or adjustable please! I ask many times for a change but nothing
the game was made to work with the time cycle as is
to do as u ask would take more effort then its worth

Too short. Should have user options for this anyway.

Yea, I wish it was longer. We could build so much more during the daylight. I wish Devs made settings to change Daylight/night Mode on the Settings Menu so we could pick among maybe 3 possible settings - "Short", "Moderate" or "Lengthy".

I'm pretty sure this can be tweaked with the console command. But I'm too lazy to do research. Just saying you can, I'll let you google it

Change # to a number. Changes the speed of day/night cycle, hunger, energy, thirst etc.

The issue is that this will change also a lot of other things...
If you can live with that, feel free to change it to anything you want.

This is no solution. Has you say, changes other things unfortunately. User adjustable sounds better. But the issue of balance on performing actions mentioned by Mason Hunter is valid.

This would be ideal

The game uses a default value of 1. Using the console and the "gametimescale" command I've found that a value of 0.65 provides a good balance of overall gameplay.

I never said it is a solution, but it's the only thing possible right now.

Well, that's at least something.
Glad you enjoy it. :)

Can we save the "gametimescale"? I mean I don't have to put it back every time the game opens. Thanks!

I cannot answer this, simply as I never tried it myself to change the timescale.
I am just aware that this command exists.
