Creative/Unlimited Building mode?

It'd be nice to have that mode like in Minecraft, just for building and testing purposes. I don't want to go in peaceful-mode and chop wood for 25 hours.

There is one! It's called creative mode but you have to finish the story first to unlock it :) But don't worry with the guides online if your only purpose is to unlock that mode, you can finish the game in less than 2 hours. However the story is good enough to not skip it so I wouldn't recommend to speedrun it :)

Thanks for the info, but damn it! I wanted to test some things before doing the story.

You can. There are console commands which will give you these options. There are some guides in this forum with the commands.

I can imageine! but it's also the fun part building something and realising it's cr@p but you don't want to destroy it because of the energy invested so you just try to ducktape it and at the end you have a giant ugly labirynth with no useful doors and steps but you love it because it's yours :)
