Whats the best way to build a platform for use with a zipline?

How would I raise the tower up that high? Would I have to build a lot of stairs first? or would a lift work for a large tower?

Depends on how high you wanna go. You can attach ropes to the platform. It's the cheapest way to get up there. But dont make it to high or you can't reach the rope. Cranes work only 5 segments high, even though you can build them higher, so be aware of that.

So what would be the best way to put the platform high to begin with? Probably just build a lower platform and put a rope then climb to the top of that and put another higher platform? And what's the height of a segment?

I'm personally a fan of rock pillars, cheap to build; they go up tall quick, and you can string a cheap custom floor between them

Now that Video is from when the crane was first introduced and outdated. Look here:

The highest you can go is even only 4 segments now, my Info was also outdated! Lol 😁 just tested it in creative.
