Golden Keycard in Co-op

So me and a few friends are wondering if there is a way to get the golden key card in multiplayer without having to end the game? Cause we wanted to continue and use it in the yacht.. we thought we would just go out somewhere, but we ended up finishing the game and having to go back to our last save?

You can choose to shut down the Artifact in the endgame. This allows you to continue the game.
