im done with this game (spoilers)

I have always loved the forest, i have had it on another account a while ago when it was in its first stages of release, but I am done with the game entirely now after what I have experienced today. so as some of you might know, back in the first few updates of the forest it did not have an ending, so i did not finish the game (obviously). when I got it on this account I barely played it and when I got my gaming pc I purposely deleted all my saves so I could start fresh on better graphics and a harder difficulty. this is why it has taken me so long to actually "finish" the game. I finished the game with the ending where you decide NOT to shutdown the facility and you save timmy instead. this is a good ending and all that but I wanted to keep playing after I finished the game. so today I reloaded my save closest to when I got to in to the sahara lab and finished the game with the shutdown ending. I loved it, it nearly made me cry (no judging) anyway i made my way back to my base to save and the game froze... then crashed.... MY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME HAS BEEN CRASHING FOR 5 DAYS NOW! YOU LAZY, STUPID, BRAINLESS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DEVELOPERS CALL THIS A GAME THAT IS IN BETA? A GAME THAT IS IN BETA IS A GAME THAT YOU CAN PLAY FOR A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HOUR WITHOUT IT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CRASHING! AFTER YEARS OF BEING A FAN OF THE FOREST I AM OUT I QUIT. I HONESTLY DONT CARE WHERE THIS GAME GOES ANYMORE BECAUSE WHATEVER THIS GAME ENDS UP BECOMING ITS NOT GOING TO BE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GOOD.

its not a potato computer, its got a gtx 1050ti and an intel core i5, i have played the forest for a year now on this pc. these crashes only started after the 1.0 update

i have never experienced a lag or something in this game and i dont have a huge config, theyr game is really well optimised only 1.7 Go for all the map trees zombies ect...

I'm having the same problem. Up until the lastest update there were no issues. Now it seems that I can only build to a certain point and the game constantly freezes and crashes. And no, its not my computer. I have 37 games that I play on rotation (including Ark Survival, and Rust) and this is the only game that does it.

We think we have a fix for an issue related to birds/treehouses causing crashes randomly. Would you be willing to try out a beta branch and let us know how it works? This build can be accessed by going to the 'Betas' tab of the game's Properties in Steam, and entering the password "itsmondayhere" without quotations. You will get a new option in the dropdown menu which you can select and download the patch.

Their response is strategically the best they could have done.

Contrasting OP's message to Dev's response, one will come to a realization that OP is irracionally overreacting. Maybe even OP realizes his faux pas thanks to this.

They also show that they are willing to help and act in a reasonable and calm manner. This is further reinforced by the fact that OP snapped instantaneouly, there was no previous interaction with them which would escalate to this.

lol the beta code didnt work, btw I posted a long comment apoligising and explaining that the devs are not lazy and that forest is a glimmer of hope for steam early access but i removed it cuz it was too long.

you can hover with mouse on the "star" next to his nick and it will say moderator :p

dev have yellow info saying that they are devs ;D

I know that dummy lol. I meant his "Role" is more than just these forums. Didnt say he was a Dev. Q&A may not get the Dev Gold text. Metamoth is also Q&A and he only gets Mod too. :p
