Some trick to using custom roof?
I have basic walls on a custom foundation, irregular shape, and the roof tool wont recognize the walls

Press "c" when in placing mode. You can define the 4 Corner points by hand then.

Tried that already with the same result but ill see if iw as doing something wrong

Do the walls need to be a regular shape?

i guess so, you have only 4 corner points for that roof. I've tried a 8 sided tower, but put a custom floor on it, at least this works. It seems that roofs are made for Square shaped houses only.

hmmm, let me think of this. Could possibly work if i put a single log pole in the center. tricky one

NOTE: Build a 5 sided house. roof works but it looks terrible
