So, about the shutdown ending (SPOILERS)

I just completed the Forest for the first time, and decided that I'd go with the option to shut the 2nd artifact down. Came out of the cave, burned the photo, got the artifact and all I want to know is: why haven't I unlocked creative mode and why don't I have the achievement on finishing the game?

No, unfortunately I saved after getting out of the lab.

Sounds like it could be an overlook, which could be a big problem. I'll check the bugs section and report it there.

If you don't mind in game console and commands then I can give you tips on how to beat game under 1min

If they didn't fix bug then you would get only finish game achievement without vegan one.
But then you could simply repeat it ;D


There was bug because of which you couldn't get both achievements at once.
If you have completed game as vegan but didn't have "finish game" achievement...
The game was giving you only "finish game" achievement and you had to repeat for vegan.

Might have to end up using console commands. I'm all right with using them, but thanks for the offer though. What do you mean the vegan one? I played on normal.

I think Wariat meant the vegan achievement. Beat the game without killing a single animal or something like that

Just type it ;D No special input. Also if you have just started game then better wait 1-2min so the game loads. (if you type before it loads then it won't work)

Once you type it press F2, if something strange appeared on middle then it worked, if not then try again "developermodeon" (caps might interfere)



And now:
1. start game (doesn't matter if new or existing)
2. press F1 and type "additem 210", press enter
3. press F1 and type "goto 174 -407 1286", press enter
4. walk towards vault doors (if you teleport closer then game bugs and you can't finish game)
5. open doors and don't look around, just look straight into the red tunnel
6. press F1 and type "goto -445 707 -1760", press enter
7. Now you are somewhere in the sky with black textures around you, If you didn't look around then infront of you should be icon to interact (you might need to look a little down if you can't see it)
8. hold E
9. watch cutscene


In case of weaker PCs the step 6 doesn't work :/ You will fall to death ;-;

If you have the same then repeat up to 5.
6. press F1 and type "additem 242", press enter
7. press F1 and type "additem 143", press enter
8. rush the endgame
9. in the room with obelisk and dead timmy -> ignore timmy and open doors on the left (the doors that lead to elevator)
10. simply beat the game and watch cutscene
