Why do cannibal babies do so much damage?

I was in a cave on hard mode and I had one attack me while I was blocking so it would go into the survival guide. That didn't work so I had it hit me when I wasn't blocking to see if that would make a difference and it depleted all of my stealth armor and a quarter of my health.

I don't even think the mutants do that much damage but it would be understandable if they did, not from little babies flinging themselves at you. It's not that I'm complaining cause they're so easy to kill or dodge but I'm just curious. I guess you can say they're glass cannons.

Its fun to put an arrow in one while its mid flight though lol.

I just realized I never tried, but could you do the same thing with a thrown pebble, @eclipse? XD

I remember a few good moments when i was playing where i would slice them in the air with the katana before they hit me.

lol yeah that's what I'm wondering, I've never bothered to throw a pebble at a baby; but if it works from there you just need to be good enough to pull it off mid-air :P and yeah lol melee weapons are great for that xD

You should use a tennis racket or a stick, it would be like your playing tennis or baseball lol
