right click the game in your Steam Library and select "Properties"- click "set launch options"
- type "-force32" into the box (without the quotes) and press OK
- close the properties window and launch the game as normal.
OR
Just create a shortcut onto the desktop. Right click it, create shorcut... drag that from the folder to desktop. Done. :)
thanks anyway
Thank you anyway.
i havent actually done what i said.. i merely suggested it.. i run the 64 bit version .. but one would assume that renaming the file would make the game default to the 32bit version.. ill test it out
edit.. so it turns out if u simply rename the 64bit exe the game fails to launch.. also renaming the 32bit exe to what the 64bit exe was named forces steam to update the exe files before launch.. so im sorry but it seems there isnt a way to force 32bit play on a 64bit system
I also tried just renaming 64 bit executable, but it did not work either.
But okay, I'll run it the standard way anyway. :-)
this is possible.. didnt think of that,, it works ,, good job wariat :)
Anyway glad that it worked!
