Bone & Stealth Armor

Does the bone and the stealth armor stack or do they replace each other, when equipped?

First off they stack, then when you full, they start to replace each other and go back into your inventory, if there's enough room

Ideally that should be changed to drop any excess armor at your feet. It's quite annoying when you accidently waste some.

I usually try to maintain the top 50% of my armor guage as bone and the bottom 50% as stealth. Sometimes you need to cycle the top and bottom layers around when equipping new bone armor layers and the only way to avoid losing armor parts is to store them on a manequin.
