Rabbit Fur Boots not increasing stealth?

Once equipping my new rabbit fur boots I noticed my stealth was not increased. My cold armor did increase as expected.

I don't think it effects you stealth stat directly. At least not through vision anyway. It's only supposed to reduce the sound of your footsteps afaik.

That's still stealth state though also it says it will increase your stealth...
I wish you could do more with rabit fur.

What I have to assume is that the boots greatly reduce the sound you make while moving but does nothing to lower your visibility. I don't know how useful this really is?

When you have a dude standing not doing anything you can creep from behind and one shot him by hitting him with a bone (might work with other weapons idk). Also works when a cannibal eats one of his fellow. But if you make too much noise they'll just turn around and you can't do the trick

It makes sense the boots would aid in sneak attacks. And fyi, you can sneak attack with any melee weapon. I don't know about the bows though? at least with the bow you can deliver head shots.
