Armsy Attacks
So me and my friend were playing on coop on NORMAL difficulty and suddenly on day 7 we had an armsy attack. We thought nothing of it and killed it. Then the next day anotther armsy attack which we dealt with but started questioning our luck. On the same day we had another 2 attack our base, we thought that it must be a glitch so we thought we would write a report on it as this is Silly for playing on normal. We started the next day cutting down logs in the same spot as usual to build defences if such a thing happened again. After a while again 2 armsys attacked our base. these attacks came mostly in the morning and from exactly the same spot. Not sure if it is a Co-Op glitch or what.

Look forward to seeing feedback though.

They do come that early, even on normal. One of the games I started on normal for testing purposes I had no mutant attacks at all until day 10. On day 10, a group of 3 mutants (1 cowman and 2 virginias) attacked my base. This then became a regular occurance at least once every day after.

So I went from 0 mutants straight to fighting groups of them by day 10.
Didn't seem right for normal difficulty at all. It's no bug though.

Back before hard mode there was a difference in the spawn rate of cannibals and especially mutants between single player and co-op mode (even solo) but I can't say if that difference still exists now or not as all I've ever played since I found that out is co-op mode solo.

it may actually be a glitch, no matter what others say, i had such glitches regulary in coop in the past.
It also seems to happen mostly with the spider mutants which you call armsies ?
At least that was it for us, on two different servers. We figured that they spawn on a specific location out of thin air and then go the same route. It was a bug becaue they kept doing that even when we exploited it.
It was so regular and often and so clumsy that it had to be either a bug or the lack of polishing of the mechanic. They just appeared right infront of us, like 20 metres away and started runnign to the base.
Sounds like fun though. Thats actually something we would have exploited so much.
We wanted to build an arena, reinforce it and fight them inside. With traps in it and all that ♥♥♥♥.

OP
For me the cannibals don't attack my base until I call them :D
Location is very important -> maybe you have built it next to spawn point or on it?
Or your base blocks their patrol route :D
Also once they found you and you let them escape alive, more will come because survivors will call for help.

I call them Spider Mutants, not virginia. They move like spiders, look spidey. Are spidey.

Well, the bug happened with them though, not the Armsies.

never let one escape, me + my friend have 200 +100 hours respectivly so we know this is not normal. we are not near any camps that we know of
