Blueberry plants don't regrow

Why did I spend the time to gather then build the planters?

Looking for a replenshable food source, I trapped some rabbits, that was fun. Found out you can pick them out of the cage and left click to kill but you get only meat, no fur? That makes sense?

I think maybe your save is glitched. Blueberries regrow in me and my friend's game just fine.

Also, in this build rabbits don't seem to breed properly. As for the fur, that might be a bug. You definitely should be able to get the fur as well as the meat.

For your food situaion, have you tried hunting birds? Throwing a small rock at them when they land or using a spear/bow? They plop down everywhere and you can lure them in with the dead cannibal bodies. If not, turtles near the beach respawn quite often and if you have a drying rack you can make all the food safe to eat for a long time.

My favorite way to hunt birds is to look around to see where some are sitting, i run over (they fly away ofcourse) but I stand right where they were, without a minute or two usually a bird will fly over and land at my feet, spear thrust without moving, ez feathers and meat. Turn feathers into arrows and you have enough fire power with reg arrows to down any game, add arrows to cloth and booze and fire arrows will take down mutants very easily. I two hit an armsy with flame arrows the other day, with a few reg arrows mixed in from my buddy.

As for the turtles, yea they seem to spawn alot, I remember when I first started playing it stated that they only spawned at dawn and dusk (like turtles coming ashore to lay eggs). I dont know if they changed that intentionally or if this is a bug.

Finding meat to hunt is easy, it's just a constant chore. Eat several full grown sea turtles every day now, it's just too much of a grind. Was hoping blueberries would work. When you eat them, the bush goes away. You stand a chance to get seeds and now I had some luck hunting rabbits (so fast!) and I can carry berries with me, that's helped a lot, just remember to replant the seeds when you do get them. If the large raft worked in SP (what a disappointment) I'd put blueberry planters on it.

Yeah, that raft sucks single player, I just made a few stick traps for rabbits/lizards and a drying rack, never run out of food since then, Or drying rack and spear some fish every day. But for rabbit skins just kill the rabbit with a spear while its still in the trap and you get a pelt and meat, repair the trap with 3 sap if it takes damage.

The hit box is weird when they are in the trap, I find I have to stand back a bit sometimes, but you can get them. Ive got 2 drying racks on a platform in the middle of geese lake full of rabbit, only thing I suck at hunting is deer, thankfully I can live on fish, rabbits and lizards.

Aside from the occasional deer that gets stuck long enough for me to melee it, hunting deer with the bow is the way to go.

I hate chasing down feathers to make arrows, is there a secret, they seem to just shoot off in all directions, and every bird only has like 3 feathers somehow, but yeah that seems to be the way to catch deer, id use the spear, but i had one vanish somehow after i threw it, so im sticking to the bow.
