deaf player possible to enjoy?

as title says and I hope this game can support subtitle in future.

WHat would be to subtitle? A growl or a roar? Maybe some crackles from a fire? There is no speech in the game. Playing deaf might even make it more emersive. I hate how when you are about to be attacked it plays the light "combat" music/noise

Minecraft has sound subtitles, but I haven't seen any other survival games do it. I know the Half-Life games do it, too.

I realy hope they dont add a sound subtitle. Having a cannibal hit you and all the sudden the word "POW" or "BAM" popping up would turn this game into an old crappy batman episode. If they ever do they BETTER have a way to turn it off.

I'm certain it would be optional if it were added.

Why wouldn't they have a way to turn it off? Plus, this is for a deaf player.

I'm hard of hearing (although not completely deaf) and I must say the game is much more terrifying without all the little telltale sounds that help clue my friends into what's going on. The game is 100% playable for you though my auditorially challenged friend so pick it up and enjoy.

they should and probably will add deaf friendly features to the game that can be toggled. i think there is colour blindness support as well.

hopefully 0.53 will bring this along or will mention some of it.
