Question on Map Coordinates

The official "The Forest" map has location coordinates. Is it possible to read those same coordinates while playing the game?

never heard of that you can use coordinates in the game

you better simply place "stick-marker" at hot spots, so you can find thouse places really easy since there will show up a HUD-icon like the log shled has

I know I’m a year late, but you can actually use coordinates ingame. It’ll require you to type ‘developermodeon’ in the home screen and press enter. Once you load up a game, hit ‘F2’ it’ll show you some game details as well as your x, y and z coordinates. Press ‘F2’ two more times to close it.

Additionally you can press F1 to bring up the developer console, in the top left. Once there you can type a number of commands into it, including the command ‘goto’. It can be used like this:

‘goto <x, y, z>'

Ensure they are separated by commas.
If you want to teleport into a cave make sure you are already in one. Same thing for the surface. This’ll allow for you to avoid some rather annoying glitches.

The developer console has many inputable commands as previously mentioned, if you would like to learn more about them, look up ‘The Forest console commands’. There are more than a few guides about this topic.

I haven’t personally tried it without commas recently, so you are probably correct, I can edit the original comment if you’d like.

you can find them at the very bottom of this ^

it seems that someone changed the coordinates and added note that someone else found it, but I guess they should work anyway

MAC users might neeed to click "that MAC special button to enable F# buttons" + F2
or maybe devs mae it so F2 requires enabling cheats as well

Typing developer mode on before the game does not work for me. Can I see a screenshot or something? I have read directions from everyone, but I don't know where to type it. So I just compy "developer mode on" and hit Cntl V in-game before choosing single player, but nope, nothing. F1 and F2 do nothing. What am I doing wrong?
