Report a translation problem
The only thing (that I know of) that's shared is structures, trees, animals and cannibals.
One exception is the birds. One player might happen upon a spawn and say something like "look at all these birds landing on the fire to die!" and the rest of you thinks he's crazy because you don't see "his" birds, only him gazing at a fire.
Another thing that's not shared is berries. I think bushes might be shared, but the berries can be shared. I've been accused of eating snowberries when in fact they were blueberries.

Same goes for static items in the world. The only things that aren't client side from memory are logs and enemy bodies.
The katana cave is north/northeast, a hole in the ground. Easiest way is to find the cockpit with flare gun, which is northeast in the river then backtrack from that point due south
