Dying of thirst in front of a river hahaha

So this game doesnt let you collect water from the huge river to force you to get water from little contaminated ponds and pools. Hahaha♥♥♥♥♥♥design for "difficulty".

You can drink in any water source (excepted ocean), it's just a problem of hitbox, sometime you have to move a lot to find the good position to be able to drink.

Wild water is contaminated and will remove you a small amount of HP. Go on a beach, find turtle and kill it to craft a (several) water collector in your base, rain water is pure.

You can also combine rabbit skin and rope to carry some water with you.

Well, if this were a realistic survival game, you would be able to drink your own urine. ;)

Also the water thing is not a hitbox problem. I ran along the entire shore south-north and nada. Anyway it is EA I will come back in 5 years when it is "maybe" done :p

Well, for several thousand players it works. Ever thought of that it's you who does something wrong?

Im still wondering how do you manage to die of thirst or hunger? Because food and ponds are EVERYWHERE

Devs should definitely make you able to fill up your pot with water from any water source available.

That isn't how rivers work, champ. Rivers flow into the ocean, not the other way around. A river at its source and for the vast majority of its length will be fresh water.

Ahhh, I thought it connected to the ocean at both sides and that is was sea level. That's what it looked like at a recollection of the map; I haven't actually been around the whole thing yet.
