Vertical mouse sensitivty laggy and slower than horizontal mouse sensitivity

for those of you who play this game with mouse and keyboard, do you all experience the vertical mouse sensitivity to be way out of whack, i.e. much slower and laggier than the horizontal sensitivity?

Searching these forums many people seem to think it a bug, but I can't find any fix for this. Does anybody know of any fixes, or is this just a completely ridiculous design choice from the developers, and I should just refund my purchase?

My horizontal and vertical sensitivity is normal, weird stuff, hope you can fix it.

Assuming it's an optical mouse, not ball mouse ...

On outside bottom of mouse, clean off where the light comes out. It gets dirty sometimes.

If it's a wire cord mouse, is the wire kinked and broken ?

If your not using a mouse pad.. but using a wood table for mouse pad.. it can cause vertical and horizontal to act poorly.

If the mouse uses a battery, is the battery still good ?

If you have a differant mouse see how that works.

If it's a usb mouse, remove usb device from port.. and reinsert it into usb port to assure a good connection.

You could also check your ingame settings controlls to make sure nothing got set to over ride your mouse controlls.

It wouldn't hurt to verify your game files through steam ..

Viruses can cause issues like mentioned also ..

I think that covers most everything .. good luck, hope you can fix it.

I have zero mouse related issues, but I'm using a simple wired mouse with only two buttons and the mouse wheel.

exact same problem here from the beginning. I have a basic mouse and have the vertical mouse sensitivity much lower than the horizontal one too. Never found a fix and this is the only game i own with this problem

Yeah, my mouse works fine otherwise except when I played this game. Deffinetly a bug with the game that has apparently been in the game for years, that the devs have not fixed.

I refunded this game. Maybe I will try it again once it leaves early access.
