can't find one of the flintlock gun parts...

I have blown all 8 cache's looking for gun parts. Got 7 parts. Went back to all cache's to see if I missed one. Nope, cache's empty and I'm still missing one part. I've checked as good as I can on the craft mat where the parts have always been. Nope.

I've managed to craft the flintlock in 3 previous new starts, 2 in Normal Mode and 1 in Hard Mode. Blew up the cache's, got parts, assembled gun. ???????? ideas?

Are you sure you aren't missing the tiny piece to the bottom left of where the parts are stored on the mat?

No, I have that one. I opened another game and got far along to look again, and found all 8 parts this time, in this game.
