Stick Marker and Log Sled Icons

They're still the same, they don't have new designs. They also don't show a preview for the next color like shelters and beds do. Was this intentional or will they be changed?

Stick markers and sleds already were able to change colors. Just walk up to it and press 'R' to select a new color. The new UI is not attached to them - that is you cannot cause the icon to become invisible. I personally just use white for all the stick markers to caves. Also I might cause the home icon to become invisible while the sled has the color on it. As long as I park the sled near the home I can always find it.

I already knew that you could change their colors. I was just surprised that they didn't change the design for their overlay icon.

As we all know, Endnight places a 'deadline' on thier updates. If they cannot get a feature in place for every thing they will send out what is completed. Recall that in this case the new UI appeared only on fires at first - allowing us to select what to cook withough having to go to inventory to choose it. I have confidence that they will apply the new ui to all the things that can have it shortly.

Uh nope, you could swap through stuff to put on a drying rack too without going to your inventory before the update. I know that there is a deadline for every update, hence the giant countdown on the main menu. I was just surprised that they released all the new UI designs except for the stick marker and log sled. I'm not mad or flustered or anything, just surprised and curious.

I prefer the log sled and stick marker icons. You have more colors you can chose.

The green and blue icons on the sleeping places seems both cyan from afar. I hope its not final. Otherwise i will keep using stick markers.

I did notice that I could use the same color on multiple houses. I have two yellow houses and two 'cyan' houses. Like you mentioned they may be slightly off from each other when they are in range - but the two sets look like the same color from afar. The cyan colors represent house icons that are on the beach. The yellow represents three or more stories in the structure not on a beach. So you could use what appears to be the same color from afar to group houses into certain categories that make sense to you.

I do think that the only color that is allowed twice with the stick markers is white. I use white to mark all the cave entrances I find.
