Peaceful Mode - Finding Bones

I am playing in peaceful mode and to be honest finding bones is a Major PITA! I have been all through the different camps and no bones to be founs. In one of the very large camps there was a BIG Effigy. When I knocked it down I got a leg, which when I put in a campfire gave me the ONE bone I have collected to date. Looking in the caves so far has yeilded none. You cannot chop up victims, they just drop cash when you hit them. There are lots of limbs lying around but you cannot pick them up. SO Where do you get bones in this mode??

If you searched the entire game you might be lucky if you are able to piece together 2 pieces of bone armor, 12 bones.

I just wanted enough to upgrade the spear. Even in Peaceful mode I have found several things that Bite! Saw a wild hog, so I shot it with my bow + Arrow and was cleaning it when I heard a "Crunch" and lost about 1/2 my hit points! Looked down to see a BIG Crockodile! There were several of them wandering around. Too Big for a bow and arrow, maybe the upgraded spear?

u do know that throwing the weak spear is a one hit kill on all animals right?

Aren't there still enemies in the caves on peaceful? I haven't played peaceful mode but I thought people mentioned that.

maybe in one of the caves you can find loose bones just lying around?

Hello, there is a way but they will need a rebreather.

There are 4 bones hidden inside the cave that is in the middle of the big hole, right in the center there is water, you have to sink and go out on the other side of the cave, it's a long way, the 4 bones are right next to you of a rope to go down.

Another reference to take into account, the place where they are located is before the wall to climb. If you came to that wall and did not find them, they have to come back, the bones are in the previous rope.

I also got 1 single leg bone, unfortunately I do not remember where I found it, but in the camps there is not.

Sicne 1.0 bones spawn in the cave that overlooks the sink hole, where the opening is. You can revist the area and get like 4 or 5 each time now.

The one with tent on cliff over hang? This is where they used to be but were removed in 1.0. I was in that area 2 days ago.

welp before 1.0 you didn't have to revisit area ;d You had just to use the rock entrance twice (the one that is next to bones) and they were spawning again (and there were ~7 of them back then)

It could be 7 actually i didnt count. But have been playing alot since 1.0 again and the bones were definietly there in my game. I plan to play this afternoon, i will try to take a screenshot.
