Remove Decorations? (animal head on wall)

I cant find a way to remove decorations, because I can't destroy them. I can't even delete them with modapi. I just end up destroying / deleting the wall.

Example: Put animal trophy head on wall. Now let's say you want to (re)move that trophy head.
How?

Destroy the wall. Same with hanging skull lamps. There's currently no other way. I know, it's annoying but it is what it is. Lets hope they fix it in the future.

Oh I forgot: I can destroy the wall, but the decorations just stay there, floating in the air.

Its a glitch. Had the same thing happen multiple times across different versions.

Still happening. Decorations don't go away even after removing the wall / object and reloading. Also sap collectors stay in the air if the tree gets removed: http://imgur.com/a/rfHJJ

You can now destroy the ceiling lamps with the holecutter

yea I just now found that out! Thanks Grandaddypurple. And Pile, Try using the hole cutter to remove the animal head. It also works with log sleads and other small structures. :)

nope. still just hole cutter. but be careful doing that
